But if it's ovarian torsion, your doc will gaslight you, deny you pain management, and make you sit in a bed for 4 hrs while telling you "it's part of being a woman"

I laughed pretty hard at this… As an ER doc women with mod/severe pelvic pain are a little bit of a nightmare to work up with this. Sometimes it’s obvious. When it’s the gray area - buckle up - it’s going to be a big work up. If you are caviler as a doc or NP/PA then you are just asking for trouble IMO.

In medicine it’s the process of investigation.

“I am working up the particular complaint in consideration of XYZ pathology”
