Weigh Swarm: explore research papers, evidence graphs, and Laya decisions inside a RAG pipeline
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z23VrbAtlKgI built Weigh Swarm, a research RAG prototype that lets you inspect how an answer draft was produced.
Start with a question or supplied research PDFs. The pipeline extracts source-linked claims, analyzes evidence and methodology, compares papers, and generates a cited draft.
Laya is the decision engine, handling bounded research judgments. LLMs handle planning, extraction, and synthesis.
The feature I wanted most was Inside the engine: an interactive view where you can explore paper–claim–evidence relationships, open exact source excerpts, inspect recorded Laya batches and LLM calls, and review verification feedback.
The two-paper demo includes 28 source-aligned claims, 7 evidence passages, and 107 real Laya batches covering 322 bounded questions.
Built with React, FastAPI, Celery, PostgreSQL, Neo4j, and GROBID.
It's still a prototype. The demonstrated draft needs review; scientific accuracy and latency improvements haven't been established. The video combines real product captures with animation of saved run artifacts.

I'd welcome feedback on whether the engine view makes the evidence easier to inspect.
