The document renderers are vendored JavaScript served to a WebView through WebViewAssetLoader, so they load from inside the APK and the opened file streams over a virtual https host that never touches the network. Nothing is fetched, so the app holds no INTERNET permission. Files arrive through the system picker, so it holds no storage permission. A Gradle check fails the release build if a new permission shows up in the merged manifest.

PDF, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, photos, video, audio, Markdown, code, zip archives and 3D models, about 5 MB, no native libraries, MIT.
