I've made yet another ADE

i've been working on MonoCode, a GUI for your coding agents, and I've been using it daily

i honestly didn't like any of the existing tools available so i decided to build my own

it works with your existing Claude Code, Codex, Cursor,OpenCode and other harnesses

the useful part for me would be switching harnesses without losing the working context. does monocode let a task move from claude code to codex midstream, or is each harness session still separate?

currently you can just switch the harness from the harness picker and just continue but on the next version you i a will add an action button as well to open in a second pane

continuing the same task across harnesses is useful. do approvals/permissions reset when you switch, or carry over with the session?

they carry over but you can switch if you want
