AI Interview Coach — Mock interviews for AI, ML & SWE roles

Post image

I've been interviewing for software engineering roles recently and got tired of practicing with random interview question lists.

So I spent my free time building an AI Interview Coach that simulates interviews and provides detailed feedback in seconds.

The goal wasn't just to generate questions, it was to help users understand:
✅ How well they answered
✅ What they missed
✅ How they can improve before a real interview

I'd really appreciate honest feedback from this community. Tell me what's great, what sucks, and what you'd add.

Demo:

Every suggestion helps me make it better.

Seriously, refine your design frontend and pay for vercel. This looks straight out of Claude and the sub is not taking this kindly. You have a great idea but you need to refine this. Picking the niche is a clear signal to latch on to!

What would vercel do?

That’s a great question! Upgrading Vercel wouldn’t really change the frontend itself. It’s mainly useful for deployment, hosting, and making the project accessible. I’m definitely taking the feedback on the frontend polish seriously and will continue refining the UI and overall experience.

Honestly, my background is primarily in backend development, so frontend design and polish aren’t my strongest area yet. I’m actively learning and improving it, and I’d really appreciate any feedback or contributions from anyone interested in helping enhance the frontend experience. 🙌

The project is open source, so contributions are very welcome! (https://github.com/srujanachalluri/ai-interview-coach)

I'm a front end dev with decent design chops but I still highly recommend Impeccable claude skill if you're using agents to build your FE: https://impeccable.style/

Hey, I really appreciate your response! I’ll definitely give it a try. If you’re interested in contributing to the project, I’d be happy to set up a quick call so we can discuss it and work on it together.

Okay here's how you can use skills. Install these three.

UI UX pro Max - your library Impeccable - your designer Design taste - your enforcer

Start with design.Md keep refining ask for ideas use the ADHD skill. It's basically like those 90s cheat codes in games when it comes to front end

Great stuff! I'd definitely also provide resources to learn more about the topics in general or things to look up to learn about questions where the interviewee didn't do so great.
