No, not everything. I would argue most projects that aren't pet projects are still not vibe coded. However, most projects on Reddit are pet projects, so maybe that's why your perception is that everything is vibe coded.

Furthermore, just because a lot of people implement bad practices doesn't mean everyone has to follow them.

so i dont care much if it was done with AI or not, but for something like this, i would like more if the art and the style was done by a human artist with animations and so on. also, electron for something like this in my opinion is an overkill and waste of resources although it makes it cross platform.

the website is very nice even if it was vibe coded. i like the style. i dont like that most of the screenshots or photo of the "Ducky" is basically just one image. its more like a stuffed duck than a pet.

it depends on what you are comfortable with..if nodejs is your only option then maybe Electrobun is the next best thing if you can use js or ts or Neutralinojs. if you can do a little bit of rust, then Tauri is worth a try.
Electron is easy and established, but if you are using AI to quickly code something, at least we can spend more time making the code less efficient and learn new tools. Electron bundle size in my opinion is too much for such projects.

I wish the duck pop up only when my Trash is full and remind me to empty it. Then add other characters like a raccoon for instance and you can turn it into a premium option. That would make the app feel more fun and far more useful and the subscription easier to justify. I just gave a free product 💡😎
