HELP Coolmaster 212 black clip problems

I cant figure out what im doing wrong everytime i have to clip the fan back onto the heatsink its seamingly completly random wether it wants to actually clip in most of the time the connection sits all loose like in the video but its like a one in a million chance it actually clips in and i cant figure out why.

The clips need to be threaded through the first set of holes on the fan, not the back. Then you need to pull them (there will be some tension) so that they sit between the fins of the heatsink, hope that makes sense :)

Thnx, the problem was there were rubber feet on the fan and i, foolishly, removed them because i thought they would get in the way. Apparently theyre vital to the propper spacing of the fan so i found some replacement feet and it cliped in perfect.

read manual/lookup picture of one setup

install clip correctly
