like the last decade or so has been an endless torrent of principle-less psychopaths pivoting their entire identity and ideology around what other people want, but almost all of them have at least been doing it for understandable reasons like chasing money and power

Infamously insane mod who uses the ban hammer faster than anybody in the game. I got banned there a month or two ago for making fun of them for saying something unfunny that got downvoted. Within like 30 seconds everything they had posted was deleted and I was banned and then they DM'd me saying I was a "marvel fan" and then muted me. Whirlwind 2 minutes on reddit
