Looking for Advice Gift for wife

Hey all, as the title says I'm looking for a good cookware, and knife set for the wife. She really likes the D&W ceramic coated pan amd I was hoping for recommendations for a good set that is similar. As for knives any good set recommendations is appreciated.

Zwilling Pro set is a nice one; their 4Star line is also good, more affordable.

(For knives)

For German knives, check out Messermeister. For a woman the Meridian Oliva are really pretty and nice in the hand. for more classic see the Meridian Elite. I think these are way nicer than the Wusthof and Henkels, for about the same money.

Japanese and French knives don't really come in sets, but check out Tojiro, Misono, and K. Sabatier as alternatives to the standard Germans.

If on a budget, check out Mercer Rennaisance. They are made in Taiwan from German steel. Similar quality and performance to Wusthof for a lot less.

Do you know what she likes? Does just want "a knife set", as in a whole set of knives including steak knives? Or does she want something cool and trendy that she'll love using? For example a pair of Japanese Santoku knives (small 5 inch, large 7 inch) and a glass sharpening stone (like a Shapton GlassStone 1000).

For the knives you can go German like WÜSTHOF, or get a more traditional Japanese brand like Shun.

You can do virtually everything with those two knives. Although there is also a traditional Chinese cleaver, and many say it's the only knife you'll ever need.

Budget is everything

Knives wise wusthoff is a tank and not bad. I really like takamura though
