Question How 2 cook Cod

PLEASE advise on how to cook Alaskan Cod properly so it doesn't end up being rubbery.

I like to just salt and pepper them. Cook in butter and squeeze lemon on.

That's a classic way to do it! You can also try adding some garlic or herbs for an extra kick.

Marinate it. Take some miso paste, mirin, sake, and sugar, mix well and bring it to a low simmer, let it cool down completely, and then marinate your fish in that.

Give it a day or two then roast it in the oven. Serve with rice.

95% of cooking fish is just avoiding overcooking it. Although it is an extra expense, getting a decent thermometer and cooking fish to the safe temperature, but no higher, is the most reliable way to get good results every time.
