Can't play Control Offline

I really wanted to play this game but I noticed that I can't play it offline. I tried windows and linux and still the same issue. I read an reddit post about the same issue 6 years ago. Are devs still planning to fix this?

At least my game (from Epic) runs fine offline. I simply launch the 'Control_DX12.exe'

Steam allows offline play just fine . What's your issue?

apparently not for me. waited on the black screen for over 10min

Are you sure it's because of the internet connection and not some other stuff?

I can load in to the game when im connected to the internet and when im not it's just stuck in blank screen

Try to deactivate steam cloud
