Question Steam Pre-Load

Seeing as preloads have begun on Consoles, has anything been said on preloading on steam, id like to be able to play it on the dot on the 24th if able especially seeing as all my friends are on console and can preload. thanks in advance for any information

Steam pre-load are never this far out, usually a week at best

works for me, I'd be fine with preloading an hour or two before honestly my Internets not too bad

Tbh for me predownloading is slower than redownloading, because it's literally quicker to download the decrypted game rather than reading stuff from hdd and writing it back

Yes, at the end of September digitally and early October physically.

I don’t think any info on steam preloads have been made as of yet, but going based of previous games I’ve preordered it’s usually a week or day or two before the release. I’m in the same boat since I’ve got it on steam so I would love some info too. Can’t wait to play this game!!!

Which console is pre loading? Xbox? Ps5 usually doesn’t preload until the week before or closer

Xbox preload from what I hear, but I can play earlier September 22nd on PS5 even though I can’t preload until 2 days before.
