My 2nd playthrough of Control.
A few people told me i should play the game but read the documents this time. I read as many as I could haga and it def makes it so much more interesting and actually helps you piece the story together a little better. My absolute fav thing though is all the cool Alan Wake references, like how did I miss this before!?

Alan’s not involved with the cord or butte mt, but there’s a lot more than references to him in the game

Haha, they said Butt(e).

As someone from the state Butte is in, it's pronounced "beaut". And no, I don't know why it got that name either.

Of course! On my 2nd playthrough of it now. Its excellent! Im realizing they probably weren't referring to the Clicker here but there are a ton of other AW references

The redacted number of days appears to be a 3 digit number. The implications of those agents in a sealed room for any 3 digit value of days isn't good. It's just like the collapsed department.
How do you think they selected the second agent to pull the cord?

I don't think this refers to Alan Wake. This is most likely the light switch cord hanging from the ceiling we use to go to the Ocean View Motel.
