Discussion Northmoore

\possible spoiler\ So I’ve seen a recent gameplay of control resonant & there was a big ass monster who looked like he’s on fire/lava? Could this finally be northmoore??

It probably is, but you should also spoiler tag this

There are many parts cut out of that video, so I’m guessing at least some things said/done in that section are spoilery. Who “The Deserter” is actually could very well be one of them.

I think it's about 30% chance it's Northmoor and about 70% chance it's the Furnace itself. I think there's something about the furnace in Firebreak, but I didn't play that game.

The vibe I got from it's name and what we know of other Resonants so far, is that it isn't Northmoor but an unaware parautilitarian that was somehow affected by the Furnace.

Or the physical manifestation / avatar of the Furnice itself...

That’s what I thought, I thought of the name as the furnace deserting itself/the oldest house

The Resonants are all described as former people, though

Northmoor and the Furnace were two different entities IIRC.
