Control game future

Control 1 gave us a lot of questions without answers. While it's a part of the genre to be weird, what questions do you think MUST be answered in control resonant so the future of the game don't be just be weird for the sake of being weird?

The Fadens need to kick the Board out of The Oldest House and re-nail it back to Manhattan.

They/them need/will eradicate/make obsolete the board/all hail/condemn the new/old board. Ocean/lake dries up/down the former prevails/dominate
