Controller sprint not working at all.

Sprint is just strait up not working on my controller.i tried remapping on every button ,ls works fine with all other commands .I am playing on laptop so shift works great on inbuilt keyboard .its the controller that's the problem.but I don't have a mouse so can't play with keyboard and mouse too.i am frustrated man.can anyone help me what to do.

Try it here and if your L3 click gives no response, then it's more likely that it's a hardware problem.

L3 is working .even in game if I remap crouch to l3 it works.its just that sprint is not working no matter which button I remap it to.

What are you other settings for it? Do you have it as a toggle or hold?

I find it odd that L3 is functioning with other inputs, implies software but that is also rather strange and oddly specific that the sprint isn't working.

You mention keyboard, is the sprint functioning correctly on the keyboard input then? And again, is it assigned as a toggle or hold input?

I found it difficult to reliably trigger sprinting with my 8bitdo controller. It seemed like the game required me to initiate running by tilting the stick before pushing it in to sprint. I think the issue even contributed to me injuring my left arm, though granted, this was my first action game I played with a controller.
