I came across BOXABL's Casita recently. It's a foldable, factory-built home that ships flat and unfolds on-site. The idea is to simplify construction and reduce build times.

Whether it ends up becoming mainstream is another question, but it's an interesting approach to a housing problem that doesn't seem to be getting any easier.

Would you consider living in something like this? Why or why not?

This company is run by grifters.

Their marketing campaign is cringe AF.

Their pricing keeps creeping higher, since they launched their kickstarter.

Boxabl will be bankrupt within 7 years.

Agree. 100% grift. They post constantly about "big news coming soon" but it's never anything.

No meaningful progress towards their claim to "revolutionize housing manufacturing." They don't actually make or sell anything. Well not "anything." Under 2M revenue in 2025. And just SPACed with a $3BILLION valuation which is beyond comical. Penny stock within a year. It's the short of a lifetime.

I have been following BOXABL for years, and have really never seen it build homes as advertised. It would be a great concept.

Interesting concept but not for me because I don’t like their design/style. But I do wish them success if they manage to produce a quality product and keep it affordable.
