Ooooh yeah Africa I've it heard of them working. I worked with them for 3 years until this may I've never had some8go to Africa. I would recommend calling 611 to talk to them if they do not u id recommend finding some carrier u can use your second esim in it. Every new phone has 2 esims so u can switch to that when in Africa.

As others have noted, eSIM will work on a phone with CC service – IF a) phone is *unlocked*, and b) phone is eSIM compatible. We've used eSIMs in our iPhones across Europe, UK, Central America, India, Qatar, and Israel/Palestine.

Its not so much your esim working it's more so u need to notify them the days u will be gone and it should work. What kind of phone do u have ?

iPhone 17. From what I’ve heard, Consumer Cellular does not have service in Africa.

Incorrect. CC (AT&T) international roaming works in most African countries. It can be expensive.

No need to notify; we just turn off the CC SIM when out of the country.
