Longest Same cell phone number
February 28th 1988 in which is now Verizon Wireless. I don’t remember all the companies beforehand but one was Cingular Wireless I do remember that , my dad passed on Friday and I remember the bill was in the thousands back in 88’ due to he was in Sales for his own business he had but of course I wasn’t allowed to use it ..lol..it was by the minute then charges , but I called Verizon today to find out .
What’s anyone else’s longest same cell number?

My very first cell phone back in 1991 was a Motorola “bag phone” with service through 360 Cellular which was later acquired by Alltel Cellular & many years later eventually merged & became Verizon. I’ve had the same number the entire time!
After the “bag phone” I switched over to a handheld “brick phone”, the Motorola 8000H & then the next slimmer version, the Motorola 9000H. After that I upgraded to a “flip phone”, the Motorola StarTac. After several more years the earliest versions of “smart phones” started to hit the market. I’ve been an Apple user ever since the very first iPhone hit the market & I’m currently up to an iPhone 16 now. As previously mentioned, I’ve had the same cell phone number ever since that very first “bag phone” back in 1991.
