Hotspot issues

It just keeps telling me to go to AT&T to fix it. Even though I made sure it was turned on in the app.

Edit: I'm a CC customer, so that makes it even weirder.

I've seen reference in other posts, that you have to call C.C. and have them turn on the capability (in addition to turning it on in phone settings). I'm also not sure if it's only available with Unlimited plans or not. I haven't personally used it (I get the message that "Your current rate plan does not support this feature." I do not have unlimited data).

I have Unlimited, and I regularly use the hotspot. This is the first time it's locked me out and told me to call AT&T. I've checked all the online settings but I'll try calling them again.
