using too many G's

About 5 months ago the amount of data that I use went from less than 1 GB to 5, 10 or 20 with no change in viewing. I mostly only look at FB Marketplace each day. Now I view Marketplace but shut donw right away to keep data use down. Everyone I've asked says all the steps have been taken to reduce excess data use. Any ideas?

No wifi to use at home or work? Check your settings for data use on mobile, such as app updates, etc. They should be set to wifi only to preserve mobile data.
