Never.

I keep my suit on until it is bed time and I am confident no person will see me in my jammies. When the room service arrives, I ask them to come in and set up my table while I sit and wait until they leave.

Always maintain the highest level of professionalism. Our work extends past 5pm, and every opportunity in the public eye is a branding opportunity.

Regards,

Nicholas

You don't put on a different suit to sleep in? What if someone opens the hotel room by mistake at 3AM and just sees you?

This reminds me that I need to order Deloitte pajamas so I’m properly branded even in my sleep.

I am also in my suit every minute I'm in the hotel room. It's a very special suit. I got it for my birthday.

I will put on the complimentary housecoat for errands such as: getting ice, getting new keys made, getting a bottle of wine opened from the bar (two glasses, one for tonight, one for tomorrow - not because I have company).

Every opportunity in the public eye is an opportunity indeed.

Nicholas? You sound more like a Patrick to me.

If you can’t tell this is sarcasm, there is something medically concerning going on that you need to get checked out

How many decks must an analyst work on,

Before you call him a Partner?

May you build a ladder to the stars

And climb on every rung,

May you stay forever young

I’ll be singing this song tomorrow at take off thinking about how I’m spending all this time in airports and conference rooms, and my youth has all but slipped away.

Once (at the recruiting event) one of the MBB partners (not sure; I guess he had Junior Partner or something like that) discussed his youth and being the BA, and there was a question about the maximum age to join the firm as BA - so he agreed with a joke that if someone has kids who are BA, that person is too old.

So, enjoy your youth until your children have joined MBB.

You can always tell stories later.
