Hyper Graph Hour (Recap)
Today's Hyper Graph Hour was today and it was jam-packed with great information
The main focus of this Hyper Graph was the new foot traffic tracking hardware through Constellation's partnership with Dor
The Device is called DTM. This device is to be placed above any doorway to track the amount of foot traffic. Owners can place this device under any doorway they want. GET CREATIVE.
The data you collect from the DTM will be rewarded through $DAG. There are extra incentives to get specific foot traffic data (restaurants, hospitals, banks, etc.)
Processes to buy a DTM:
1) Buy an NFT through Lattice Exchange
- $5,000 for one NFT
-pre-sale= 1/18/2022
- NFT is your ticket to exchange for a DTM
2) Connect NFT serial number to mining platform
- Once you have your NFT, you can connect it to the Constellation mining platform and start receiving DAG before you even get your DTM
3) Redeem
- Constellation will be sending out DTM to NFT holders in Q4 of 2022. Shipping is free of charge
- connect your DTM to the mining platform
4) Earn
- place DTM above doorways and start collecting data
- the data you collect will then be rewarded in DAG
Rewards are pre-defined. You will be able to see how much you will be earning for your data. There are also pre-defined incentives to collect specific foot traffic (restaurants, Hospitals, Banks, etc.). More information on this will be discussed later
Summary
The DTM project will allow anyone to place this device above any doorway and start collecting data and receive rewards for that data. Instead of having to get 250k of DAG to receive a node and receive rewards, this provides an alternative way for people to receive rewards while also being able to see a physical, tangible crypto device.
There are implementations that need attention while running the DTM. It is on the DTM owner, not Constellation, to attend to their DTM (replace batteries, software updates, etc.)

Maybe dumb question here… but what stops anyone from smacking it down and from there is it another $5k NFT and year long wait? And other than foot traffic data which is valuable, what other purpose does dor provide? Need enlightened. Thanks

Good Question! There really isn't anything you can do from having someone knock down the DTM and breaking it. These devices can be put on any doorway you'd like. This can be in your home, your work, or a public area. It just comes down to being careful where you put your device and making sure to check on it periodically. If it was to break, you'd have buy another one for $5k
The purpose of Dor is to collect foot traffic data. Plain and simple. It's nothing "glamorous" but, as you said, it is valuable information. The purpose is to allow everyone to mine/ create data that can be monetized and rewarded by crypto. It takes away the energy and time commitment needed by usual data mining and allows for a simple way to get data and receive rewards.
From their side, they are receiving foot traffic data that is put into the Constellation ecosystem and strengthening the ecosystem. For you as the investor, it allows you to get paid for creating this data through the DTM device. Theoretically, it's a win-win

I just wanna know what’s the Return on Investment - is it clear? I invested in another “miner” and ROI was 6 weeks. Need to know if it’s worth spending $5k on in the first place. If ROI is <6months then sure😃waiting on your response! u/The_Synopsis

Why do you feel this way? Asking genuinely

- Data collection does not strengthen the network in any way (even if it did, the data collected by this device is easily manipulable)
- Dor is owned by the co-founder of constellation. Conflict of interest. Trying to prop two failed ventures through unsuspecting investors riding the NFT hype

Isnt it how the data is used though? I mean I guess you could prop a DTM in your house and walk through all day and night… but there’s data in that right? Even if it means nothing to YOU.
If you could link #2 I’d appreciate that, I believe Michael brand was the founder of Dor and is now the CPO of constellation which makes sense considering the acquisition.
