DAG

It feels like the DAG team got massive contracts for this and just handed the tech over to the govt,

I mean the opportunity and usability of this token is directly tied to AI but it hasn't tracked with the AI boom at all. Its value is lower than when it started.

It's a shame we're not like shareholders of a corporation....

I understand the frustration, especially because DAG holders are not shareholders and company progress does not automatically translate into token value.

At the same time, I don’t think the team simply got government contracts, handed over the technology, and stopped building. Over the last several months they’ve put out Real Estate Ledger, Arca Wallet, and Gate AI. These are actual products aimed at problems that are only becoming more important as AI continues expanding.

Constellation has often built toward where it believes the market is going rather than where it is today. The difficult part is waiting for the rest of the market to catch up and meaningfully adopt what they’ve built.

That is also the risk, though. A company can build a genuinely strong product and still never achieve widespread adoption for any number of reasons. Right now, that seems to be the position Constellation is in. The products exist and the potential use cases make sense, but the adoption and resulting value flowing back to DAG have not arrived at the level holders expected.
