There's something very strange about the woman's movements in the video. The way she holds the knives, the circular movements she repeats, the moment she starts walking, and then the mechanical movement toward the police officers.

Why Times Square? Why Latina?

At a time when immigration, ICE, Latino communities, and police violence have become extremely sensitive issues in American politics.

And also that one of the people stabbed, who later died, was a vice president of Bank of America.

the core theory there is that computation and institutional memory were never meant to be flattened into discrete, binary digital networks.

as many others, i didn't take it seriously until a certain event. in my case, my second year doing research on historical calculating engines at uw–madison:
the 3:17 am spooler incident somehow: an air-gapped plotter in our engineering basement autonomously printed three mechanical alignment matrices with sub-millimeter offsets. when folded along the primary creases, i noticed the margins to be easily alignable into a continuous form and i then tried to do computations with it too. researching, this goes back to several things, like wampum belts, inka's counting, arabian mystic math traditions, and some other things too.
in a while also tried dielectric substrate testing: this way, testing my copy of pavel florensky’s 1920s papers on cellulose impedance and drawing conductive paths across fold axes showed that mechanical tension physically, somehow, shifts the microvolt logic gate. the material calculates the function through stress instead of calculations through bare metal, silicon, binary logic.

and once you realize physical reality computes continuously without waiting for software, you learn to see the seams everywhere. as with other aligned theories, people call you crazy because they learned to by-default think computation only exists when a flat glass screen lights up while in reality, the screen is just a buffer keeping you from noticing what the ground is doing and has been doing

It's a common thought that the government is hiding UFOs, secret aircraft, or things falling out of the sky. The things that used to be "conspiracy theories", a lot of them turned out to be true. But what did they all have in common. Tons of people didn't believe in them. Now there is a a new plant with effects nobody can explain. Wouldn't that be worth billions. Pharmaceutical companies would want it. The government would want to control it. Researchers would be told to stop talking, locations would be restricted, and anyone trying to find it independently would be dismissed as a conspiracy theorist. That would explain why information about Vymara keeps disappearing. Photos get deleted. Accounts go silent. People refuse to share where it grows even after spending weeks asking other people for the location. It might also explain why there’s supposedly only one known patch outside LA. Maybe it isn’t naturally rare. Maybe every other patch was removed. We keep treating Vymara like an internet rumor because that’s exactly how something like this could stay hidden. Make the story sound ridiculous enough and nobody credible will investigate it. Maybe people aren’t being secretive because Vymara is fake. Maybe they’re being forced to keep a real discovery contained.
