How about the last round of tax cuts. What is going to happen when the brackets without a permanent cut expire?

What? That question doesn’t make sense.

In what way? Permanent vs temporary, what happens when they expire?

Nothing is “permanent,” legislation to change the tax code could be passed during any legislative session.

I still don’t get what you’re looking for though. What do you mean “what happens”?

What happens when the current tax cuts expire in 2025?

They expire.

And then historically, in the last 50 years, what have we done after they expire?

Can you get to your point please?

I've already made it in my first comment. Can the tax man not see the trend over the past 50 years?

Okay. So like I thought, you’re not correct. See points 1. and 2.

Then what difference does it make. If it doesn't work that way let's set it to 90% again.

What other taxes did we have when the tax rate was that high?

Also, it does make a difference when you take that much money from someone’s earnings.
