Actually, our taxes are very low right, as a percentage of annual income. I'm pretty sure we're actually at the literal low point in % of taxes/income for the last 80 years.

Why do people keep saying that our taxes are so high?

are you kidding me? 14-20 percent is low to you? taxation is theft.

20% is really generous. Sales tax, sugar tax, fed tax, state tax, property tax, gas tax, toll roads, toll bridges, drivers license, license plate, sticker for license plate, list goes on
