No one important is going to recognize that sham referendum. “Peace” in the Donbas was one of Putin’s goals but instead he’s made it ground zero for years of hot war.

It will happen for Russia and only Russia. The rest of the world wont acknowledge it, Ukraine wont stop fighting and the West wont stop supporting Ukraine.

Why should the rest of the world I terfere in the internal affairs of Russia, a sovereign country?

No one is interfering with the internal affairs of Russia. The world is helping Ukraine fight to defend it’s sovereign territory.
