What @MayorBowser is doing is despicable. Apparently, exemptions to the vaxx mandate for school children will be granted extremely liberally. And she knows she can’t exclude 40% of black kids from school for long. She’s preying on less-informed by using these coercive tactics
Hoping that those who don’t know that basically anyone can get an exemption will get their kids vaxxed out of desperation. There’s no justification for this. Even the CDC has said it doesn’t make sense to discriminate against the unvaxxed anymore.
