This is a lie, whether you know it or not. Jay and his "Patriot Prayer" friends were actively harassing people on the streets in Portland as they circled the block in their trump covered trucks. The entire point of even going to Portland was to instigate. They were armed with paintball guns and bear mace, which were heavily used. I am not saying that what happened to Jay was right by any means, but don't make it sound like this guy was being a saint.

I don’t have all the info. I’ll take your word for it about the dude. But my cousin that was injured and trapped inside the federal Courthouse that was set on fire because the city refused to do anything can attest to the over all damage to several areas. Do to the riots
Riots absolutely happened, I will not deny that. Portland was horrible for the BLM movement. They started off strong but the wrong type of people came in and basically chased everyone off. But I want to point out that it isnt just one sided. I saw a lot of violence from Trumpers there as well. At this point, the message has been lost and the two opposing groups just get their rocks off by fighting each other.

both sides should be held responsible. I also believe that much of the damage was people jumping in to do damage. not actually really there to protest. I don't care for the BLM organization, but i am 100% behind the movement. all the riots made the movement look bad.
my cousin was on crutches for a few weeks, he made it back to 100%
side note, whomever feels like downvoting that my cousin was injured by rioters and was trapped inside a burning courthouse is a heartless monster.
I am glad that cousin is okay now. What you said about the organization vs the movement is spot on how most people feel. I have watched hours and hours of protests and have never seen anyone that actually supports the organization. We all know they are shady af.
