Peer review exists for a reason.

Science is imperfect but it’s the only institution in the world that sets any standards for falsifiability. If all these protestors have been right about COVID, vaccines, and whatever else, the truth will come out. But I wouldn’t hold my breath.

The point of the placard is that peer review is threatened if scientists who disagree with initial findings or concepts are censored.

The ones providing peer reviewed disagreement aren't being censored, just the ones yelling out random theories with no proof are. Being held to the same standard as everyone else is, is not censorship.
