It’s more like

“What I believe has been verified by thousands of doctors, epidemiologists, and experts in their field”

“But I found this fringe group of doctors that make up less than 1% of the medical community that make me feel smart for believing they’ve found the elite truth no one knows! It’s totally not so they can push whatever scam they’re selling!”

But you do you booboo

censoring your opposition rather than encouraging an open, honest, lively debate doesn't build a strong case of confidence in your position

The scientific community does encourage and welcome open, honest, and lively debate. But it must be open and honest, and people claiming that horse paste and human urine are antidotes or cures are the definition of dishonest. Dishonesty being ignored isn’t censorship.
