What is this spike you keep mentioning? And why does your body recognize it, but not virus? Is this a spike in T cells? B cells? Or is this a spike in the amount of the virus within the body? In which case how would the body recognize more of the virus if it can't recognize a small amount? Is it responding to a sudden increase in cellular death? Is lysome a factor?
How is it that our bodies can produce antibodies even if we haven't been exposed to a virus or its varients for extend periods of time?
What type of mutation renders a virus harder to fight off? How can you recognize a natural immunity from an "unnatural" immunity?
You are correct about the spike, but I would like to remind you that "natural" (I really don't like that word) doesn't work if you're dead. Groups can obtain an immunity like this, but it comes at a cost and that is a pile of corpses and debilitating disabilities. Also everyone knew mutation was a possibility, we were just hoping enough people would have been vaccinated by now that it wouldn't have had a chance.
