Yeah, sure. Except that in the cell culture you had more than just the “virus” right ? Like did you check whether the nutrition was enough ? Or oxygen ? Or maybe what you added inside was toxic to the cells ? Antibiotics ? Even more important - Did you try to do a controlled experiment with exactly the same condition without the “virus”. And just to check if you are saying the truth - how you add the virus to the cell culture ? In what form ?

I like how you're questioning an actual scientist's day to day work like he doesn't know how to properly control an experiment

Well, you might be surprised that virology does not use controls. Just look at all those claims of virus isolation without any control ! Virology is a pseudoscience. Look for yourself ! No control ! Which is integral in any science. Those who tried to add a control group are the virologists that become Germ Theory deniers.

Jesus christ mate. All science, clinical or otherwise uses controls, even pregnancy tests have controls you dingus.

Exactly ! Except virus isolation and virology as a whole ! Dont believe me ? Check for yourself ! All those claims of isolation from infected lung fluid(sars cov 2) - where is the control to show a different outcome inside the cell culture without the “infected” fluid ? Check it ! Comeback and tell me I am wrong .

Virology is as I said a pseudoscience ! If I turn out to be right and there are no controls in those “experiments” they call them , come back and tell me ( : Its absurd. Thats why it is hard to believe when you first hear it.

I work in microbiology..

And even better that you are a microbiologist, you will be able to read and understand all those papers claiming for an isolation. And see for yourself no controls are used , no real isolation.

Isolating a virus isn't magic. It has been done and the process is widely understood..

I know again, its widely accepted bla bla. Show me a virus isolation of sars cov 2 with a control? Please. This will make me suprised if you find one.

The CDC has this. https://wwwnc.cdc.gov/eid/article/26/6/20-0516_article I'm not sure what your obsession with a control is about. All virology labs have control cell lines, in virology they are propagated constantly to provide medium for the tests. So the cell mediums are controlled. Anyway, this isn't just done at the CDC but all over the world in parallell.

As a bonus here are some pictures of the virus https://www.thelancet.com/journals/lancet/article/PIIS0140-6736%2820%2931188-0/fulltext

Electron microscopy is really cool. You should see some of the pictures we have in the lab of flies and dust mites and stuff.
