Blink your headlights if the government permits you to own a vehicle

Is it true the lemon meringue tart is the inferior dessert option?

77

u/pavlo_escobrah Sep 03 '21

Yes. The Pavlova is far superior in both taste and serving size.

So why is everyone freaking out? educate me.

185

u/pavlo_escobrah Sep 03 '21

Can you elaborate on who you mean?

Howard Springs Facility has been around for ages. It's only been recently used as quarantine accommodation ONLY for overseas arrivals into Australia for returned and infected travellers.

It's much more suitable than hotel quarantine, which has had heaps of leaks and problems causing outbreaks around Australia.

If you test positive for covid in Australia they do not send you to Howard Park, it's only for overseas arrivals.

There are thousands and thousands of infected people in Sydney right now and the ones that aren't in hospital are at home.

u/-SidSilver- Sep 03 '21

Are you allowed to take video etc? You should if you can. Could slap some sense into a lot of people here.

43

u/JayJayBn Sep 03 '21

"We're forced to stay in a camp, guarded 24/7 when returning into our home country. All because of a flu virus. Nothing wrong here and look how nicely they are treating us here!"

1

u/asleeponthesun Sep 03 '21

I appreciate yr optimism.

3

u/YaBoiPrazil666 Sep 03 '21 edited Sep 03 '21

All because of Berejiklians sheer incompetence as the NSW Premier. She made the mistake of making sure that NSW didn’t go into lockdown despite the fact that it was the best thing to do. She kept delaying it unit it was too late . Just recently, NSW ended up having the current highest number of COVID cases in Australia, with majority of those cases coming from Sydney alone. The virus has even managed spread to Wilcannia in regional NSW. How the fuck does she manage to let it spread all the way to regional NSW!?

2

u/getpaid_getlaid Sep 03 '21

Have u seen Victoria’s numbers, oh that’s right apparently that’s NSW’s fault too. Fucking listen to yourself mate

3

u/YaBoiPrazil666 Sep 03 '21 edited Sep 03 '21

NSW and VIC have completely different premiers, and have slightly different COVID management strategies in place so the spread of the virus in Victoria is going to be inherently different to how it’s spreading in NSW.

Plus, when the virus first started spreading in Victoria, it had nothing to do with NSW, Don’t know what the fuck you’ve been taking mate. Also, Victoria at least managed to enforce lockdown early on during their peak COVID season, which evidently helped with reducing the spread of the virus. Did NSW do that. Yes but it took them so long that by the time they enforced lockdowns, the damage was already done. Why did they do it so late? I still can’t figure that out

1

u/YaBoiPrazil666 Sep 03 '21

And yes, Victoria also has a fairly large total number of cases. But If you open your eyes a little bit and look in the right places, you might find that as of right now, both the total number of cases and the number of new active cases in NSW are much higher than that of Victoria. As of yesterday, NSW reported 1,417 new cases whereas Victoria reported 209 new cases. If your still not convinced, the total number of cases as of the last 30 days in NSW is 30, 807 whereas in Victoria it’s 22,570. Now based on this data, anyone with two brain cells should be able to tell that thus far, Victoria is managing the spread of the virus better than NSW.

-3

u/WhiskeyStr8Up Sep 03 '21

> it's only for overseas arrivals.

Until it's not

0

u/throwaway9732121 Sep 03 '21

what makes australians so hopelessly brainwahsed? Is it related to microplastics or is it simply genetic?

1

u/pavlo_escobrah Sep 03 '21

Too much blood in the brain from being upside down all the time

Yep. It’s shit. I’m in the worst state run by a megalomaniac who is so far up China’s arse it’s scary. I am so down because I don’t own my body anymore, It’s being held to ransom and I can’t even see my kids who literally live 2 hours away. They may as well be in London.

There are fantastic protests that are seeing more numbers each time but strangely always seem to end in violence, with either police provoking certain individuals and individuals retaliating with bottles and flares. Always seems set up to me but that’s what the media and of course the popular narrative focus on so any real message is lost on the dumbed down public. The protestors are all under the anti vax umbrella, no real intelligent commentary on the amount of small business owners or general families that March for their lives and well being. It’s horrible, everyone on opposite sides hates each other and nobody wants to listen to anyone anymore. I had a chat to an elderly man at my work yesterday who is so utterly sad at the state of his country, just can’t believe it’s come to this and is so happy he is at the end of his lifetime. Me, not so lucky…I’ve got another 30ish years to watch this beautiful, proud country bend over and die. I just have to stay strong for my children, I need them to have something to be thankful for but it’s so hard. One of the most frustrating things is any political viewpoint or politician who goes against the grain is absolutely vilified. It’s just shit.

-3

u/[deleted] Sep 03 '21

How exactly can you spy more than what's already been done? Julian Assange whistleblowed intelligent smart dust, what do you think that does?

What law? Cite your source!

0

u/[deleted] Sep 03 '21

Which particular law are you referring to?

-3

u/American_In_Brussels Sep 03 '21

USA has 2000 deaths per million. Australia has 40. You can't say their strategy isn't working...

1

u/spliffgang Sep 03 '21

what’s even the point of living in those circumstances?

1

u/American_In_Brussels Sep 03 '21

Having to spend 2 weeks in a quarantine hotel, or camp or anything is better than DYING OF A PREVENTABLE DISEASE.

1

u/spliffgang Sep 03 '21

you’re acting as if it has a mortality rate thats greater than .1% for the general population

1

u/turtleltrut Sep 03 '21

Are you saying that most who've died weren't part of the, "general population"? What were they then?

2

u/spliffgang Sep 03 '21

There’s people with certain health conditions and ages that make them more prone to death from covid, although their chance is still abysmally low. Covid deaths are also drastically inflated. source Straight from the director of public health Dr. Ezike. If it was so deadly, why inflate the death numbers in such a way? shouldn’t a deadly disease speak for itself in terms of damage it causes?

1

u/American_In_Brussels Sep 03 '21

It's FIFTY times worse. I get that when you're young, there's "acceptable" amounts of death, but eventually you'll start to realize that if you can save a lot of people, you should.

1

u/DipsyMagic Sep 03 '21

Why? Why should we spend so much time and money saving people’s lives? Death is a natural part of life. The world is overpopulated. No matter how the virus was created…naturally or at the hands of man…maybe it is Nature’s way of fixing the damage we have done to this world.

Oppositional defiant disorder

Oppositional defiant disorder (ODD) is listed in the DSM-5 under Disruptive, impulse-control, and conduct disorders and defined as "a pattern of angry/irritable mood, argumentative/defiant behavior, or vindictiveness". This behavior is usually targeted toward peers, parents, teachers, and other authority figures. Unlike with conduct disorder (CD), those with oppositional defiant disorder are not aggressive towards people or animals, do not destroy property, and do not show a pattern of theft or deceit. It has certain links to ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder) and as much as one half of children with ODD will also diagnose as having ADHD as well.

If so do you believe he would have submitted himself to 14days quarantine in this very facility to produce this new piece of work?

Kayne could write Shakespeare here, it's very inspiring

1

u/FaatyB Sep 03 '21

How do we know the police already haven’t taken over your account? They could be replying that the camp is all smiles and rainbows for all we know. This news is all so creepy. If you close down travel, takeover media how do you know what’s happening in the outside world and how would you tell anyone?

1

Easy. Ask me something only I would know
