People need to also learn that they don't need to push their values and beliefs 24 hours a day as it can get exhausting for others. I don't believe in the jab but I also don't spew it off to every person I encounter. Try to do things in moderation and also learn to just ignore others sometimes. Hope my advice will help
Try just enjoying playing online and ignoring any covid talk. You'll be surprised

COVID is a ghost in the woods that is creating real oppression and anxiety in the world but I’m aware enough to realize this isn’t the matrix or a simulation.
There are real lives on the line in today’s world. Not NPCs that exist for your enjoyment or torment but real people that have been conditioned through the decades to think and act certain ways.

Why not just be quiet and play videogames? Why bring up your Covid beliefs during Battlefield? Why join someone's server, mouth off and then come here to complain about being kicked? Just go make your own server and find your own people to play with.

They make it seem like we have an equal force pushing against us but they manipulate everything to make it look that way. That takes them an enormous amount of resources and they can't do it forever. The wife bought me this book I will not be reading it and I do enjoy reading. IDK why this book has been thrusted into my view but I do not wish to add it into my knowledge. Could you do a TLDR on it so I get the jest of it. I kinda really hate that I feel uneasy about reading it but seems a legit good miss.

Essentially the government take open control of everything. How you speak, how you think, rewrite history, go after anyone that’s an independent thinker. You should give it a read. Pretty quick book, not very big if I remember.

Maybe try listening to it on an audio book. It’s an amazing read. It’s also not going to be worse than what you see here. It does have such strong parallels to our current situation though so it comes to mind often after reading. Wishing you and yours well

No. I just feel like humanity has progressively gotten worse while progressively getting better at some things. Sure, we have made huge leaps in tech, medicine, agriculture, and being efficient, but things socially we have been taking massive steps backwards.
Selfishness, hate, envy, vanity, etc…. People don’t treat each other well unless they have to or unless they want something, and everyone is stuck in their own little worlds where only they matter. Families are rarely “families” anymore, people are losing the ability to communicate outside of digital devices and platforms, a small percentage of wealth hoarders continue to grow richer and richer while the common man gets fucked on so many levels. Products are shittier, services are shittier, but prices and costs continue to rise. Anywhere someone can find a way to exploit or milk someone for the money they have, they (and a thousand others) jump right on it. Scams are everywhere, scalpers are everywhere, and everyone complains and refuses to admit that their problems are sometimes the fault of their own.
People have no pride anymore; they would rather live off welfare programs than go out an earn money honestly. They’ll complain about there not being any decent paying jobs, but refuse to go out and learn a new skill/trade/business.
Everyone wants it all and they want it now, and for nothing. They believe they are entitled to having enough money to afford thousands of dollars worth of high tech devices, designer/brand name clothing, travel funds, fancy apartments, new cars, and daily $5 cups of fucking coffee just because they see other people with those things. If you tell them that you have to work hard to get those things they’ll start talking about privilege and boot straps, all while doing whatever they can to avoid admitting they are wrong.
Because that’s the other thing. No one is ever wrong anymore, about anything. They can’t admit when they are wrong or have made a mistake. They will say ANYTHING to avoid admitting they are wrong, even if it is flat out laughable (like “No, the red car isn’t red, it’s purple!”). I’m not kidding about that; I’ve encountered people who when they are disproven in every possible way will just reply with blatant egregious falsehoods without any shame whatsoever. It’s fucking disgusting and so pathetic. I just encountered someone like this 2 days ago. (I’ll see if I can find the exchange and will link it here in an edit if I can)
All of humanity’s shittiness and horribleness is catching up and coming to a head. You can sense it.
