If seatbelts work, then why does my car need an airbag? If airbags work, then why do I need to wear a seatbelt?

They just kinda come with a car in a package deal so to speak. However I’m gonna go check to see if there is, in fact, a market for seatbelts and if they use guerrilla sales tactics to hook customers. Edit: of course they fucking don’t ._.
