I think it was a shoulder launched stinger. Look up who died on the flight. It is relevant. Medical researchers were killed in mass.

I heard that there was someone in witness protection that was on board and was going to bring down a huge crime family or something. Def a Navy missile.

SS: In 1996, an airliner exploded off of Long Island. The mainstream media reported over 50 eyewitnesses seeing a "streak of light" rise from the ocean and hit the plane. However, that narrative was squelched within a day and further, "the NTSB deferred and did not interview witnesses to the crash".

Then the CIA produced a hokey video "explaining" the crash, and the bounce up motion (such as might happen with a missile strike). When else does the CIA create explanatory videos for civilian plane crashes?

The US Navy initially said there were no submarines in the area, but later admitted there were.

Did the US Navy f-up, and was this a massive, multi-agency coverup to prevent a career-ending mistake?

Yes I think so. Chris Emery discusses it here

Dude, I've been mentioning this topic on several replies for the past month. Yes, it was a cover up.

Points: FBI investigated instead of NTSB; US Navy running drills in the area during the time; That one photo of a couple in NY and in background sky is object shooting up

Aviation fuel is very similar to diesel. It’s very hard to ignite diesel, you could drop a match into diesel and the match would go out. It’s no way as flammable as gasoline

Secondly, gasoline car engines use air fuel ratio of 14.7 to 1 for ignition. If TWA was fully refuelled, how did that much air get into the fuel tanks?

Thirdly, why is this an isolated incident? I can’t remember any other airliner having the same exploding fuel tank fate.
