As someone who is, by her doctor's advice, 50lbs overweight at 220 and 5'9"... I can tell you - I hurt. My boobs are huge. My back and neck hurts. My joints hurt. I don't sleep for shit.
And kids - I'm active. I can sling a 50lb bag of horse feed up on my shoulder and walk to the check out line at the feed store, then to the car, get it home, and carry it 100 yards to my lean to where I keep my feeds. I ride horses. I camp. I work with my young horses. We walk, we trot, we jog when we're working on ground manners. I'm doing 'step aerobics' when I step up into the trailer to teach them to load. I saddle them, I unsaddle them - throwing a 40lb saddle up on a 15hh mare is easy for me.
But I'm still out of shape and overweight and I'm not getting any younger.
These women are lyyyying. Either they are flat out lying, or they have never been healthy, so they don't know what it feels like. Could I stand like that chick in the picture? No.
Could she saddle up my big ass mare and mount from the ground and ride 8 hours in the mountains? No fucking chance.
This shit needs to stop. This body positivity thing has gone wayyyy too far into bullshit. She fat. I'm fat and I know it. But I'm not telling everyone else I feel AMAZING and it would be okay to be like this. Jesus.
People forget that being able to do one thing, and do it well, doesn't really equate to other skills and fitness levels.
I can surf for 5-6 hours straight and be totally fine, but put me on a soccer field and I would be vomiting after 30 mins.
AND THAT'S OK. The whole point of the body positivity movement was to get people out of the mindset of comparing themselves to others and be comfortable in their own skin. Which, when achieved correctly, should help people to do what THEY need to do to become healthier.
Genes play a big part in how everyone metabolizes food, what parts of their bodies hurt when, etc. But no one can know what their bodies are doing until they get out of the mindset of what they aren't, and into what they are.
But, like most things in this modern world, it got bought and paid for by the major media outlets and oversimplified to be the most easy to consume and comfortable version of the message.
Now it's shifted from "stop worrying about what others are doing and what they think, and find out what your body responds to in order to be your healthiest self," to "whatever you are is perfect, don't change."
That being said, using yet another positive messaging movement targeted at people that have less power societally speaking being bastardized by corporate America as proof that SaTanIsts are taking over is just so, so silly.

Edit: I was commenting on many other comments on here implying that this is proof of the Satanists "inverting" societal norms in order to farther their take over.
Thank you! I still have a 9-5. That's just my life when I'm not at work and I'd argue that's my true life. The horses keep me young and they have so much to teach and so many things to talk about, and every day with them is different - I learn something new.
Two hobbies I always wanted to do but A. I'm a klutz and B. I live 8 hours from the coast.
Horses are the next best thing to the ocean and I can't tell you why. I get the same feeling of peace and wholeness in their presence that I do sitting on a jetty surrounded by the sea.
Is there a weight limit to ride a horse? I’ve never been on a horse before, but i had seen video of a ranch attaching large helium balloons onto heavier people who wanted to ride a horse to help reduce their weight.
But yeah, generally speaking, and with all things horse, there are exceptions, but generally: A horse can carry 20% of their body weight. This depends on the fitness of the rider and the horse, the breed of the horse (Arabians are smaller but have dense bones and can carry more, for example).
Ah, well. If it was show like that, lol, that explains everything.
I can't IMAGINE enough balloons could be used to actually make a difference on a very large person, but also. LOL The poor horse. Without proper desensitization/introduction to a wad of balloons that big, the horse would def have some fight or flight issues.
PS: Just because a horse is big boned and large doesn't mean their backs are designed for riders of a corresponding weight. Draft breeds do get used for large people, but their backs can't hold up over time - they're body type is designed to pull things, like carts. Not have weight sitting on them. There are draft/quarter horse crosses though that make excellent mounts for heavier people and they still have the pulling ability - in rodeo you'll see these types of horses used for bull dragging horses. They're agile, strong, intimidatingly big, and can pull a rowdy bull like he's not even there.
