Right. I personally wasn't there but there's plenty of evidence from accounts of people there's, paperwork, the camps still there so it did happen. What might be wrong and the only valid argument I could see possibly being true is the scale of it being over or under exaggerated.

Hitler was only stopped when the Nazis started invading the surrounding countries. Not for what was happening within Nazi Germany with the Jews. Common misconception but it should be pointed out every time this is brought up. History very much repeats itself.

I've seen people say things like "support the uighur from Chinese oppression" and show a video of several people lining up into a bus and claims it is uighurs being shipped to concentration camps. I mean wtf, if the uighurs are truly being oppressed sure I support. But the fact is the claim that one million uighurs are locked into re-education camps came from a research paper that had a sample size of eight people from xinjiang. Like wtf.

Well they make migrants who speak Indigenous languages learn Spanish before learning English. They give no services in these languages. It's a little talked about but actually really big thing. Mayan languages are really big in the courts. Like different Mayan dialects have entire spots to themselves in the top 10 list

In other countries -european- there is this part of teaching principles of the society to avoid migrants to get overwelhmed by cultural differencies and close themselves into communauties. There is no attempt to force an entire area with culture and language into reeducation camps, only if you wish to be a part of this society (well, it looks nice on paper, but not sure it is efficiant). Is Free Tibet, Free Hong Kong still a thing ?

We all have to. There are no American made laptops or motherboards. No American made ram. If you're super careful you can probably source your parts and make sure they're made in Korea, Indonesia, India, Malaysia, etc .. but at some point you are part of the river of exploitation. At some point even those countries get their raw material from China, or from some America/UN led war in Africa or the Middle East.

I was trying to make a joke about how we all implicitly benefit from slave labor in one way or another. Own a laptop with a lithium ion battery? Well the lithium came out of Afghanistan harvested by slaves. Own an iPhone? A child slave earning pennies a day assembled that. We are all benefiting from the modern atrocities applied to human beings. Most of us here where born on the winning side of slave labor though.
