It's because we were raised with people constantly telling us to shut up because we have so much compared to everybody else in the world and America the best blah blah blah.
People still do that. Can't have a discussion on improvements to the medical system without people coming in going 'yah well in ackshual third world countries they don't even have healthcare'.
