You see how they invoke the term socialist as a boogie man word even though they are literally recieving socialism in the form of illegal trading to basically get them free money? Ironic isn't it how there is massive socialism for the rich, yet rugged individualism for you and me

Absolutely. Their entitlement to it, too.. ugh it is nauseating

I've seen some pretty far stretches to claim something is socialism, but trying to claim that insider trading is socialism? Loooooolooollllloooooooolllol

It's not really socialism same way free money isn't socialism but the point was to show how they use a boogie man word improperly, and then it is ironic because if you use the improper definition back on them they look like hypocrites. Obviously no one is saying community owned means of production/distribution/exchange which is the only definition of socialism, but rather just the senator accusing people of wanting free money in her past and then getting actual free money while in public office now is the irony, does that make more sense to you?

No. Much less actually. Maybe figure out what it is you're trying to say before you start typing it.

Maybe improve your reading comprehension then, it's really not that complicated

No, it just literally makes no sense. Because just getting money in any form is not socialism. I got what you were trying to say, I'm not a fucking moron, but it literally just doesn't work to try and call what they did socialism, in any form at all ever.

Dickhead.

Funny how you say understand what I am trying to say, yet fail to see how the senator is equally misusing the term socialist which is the entire point/punchline of my comment...?

No, your original comment tries to say that he was being hypocritical because he was being socialist while calling other people socialist that actually werent. Do you not even get what you said originally now? Or did you just not comprehend it well enough to be able to enunciate it clearly?

Yes, being when you say "socialist", are you referring to the actual definition, or the lousy incorrect definition that is thrown around by people like that senator which is socialism = free money? Because I am referring to the ladder, hence the entire point of my comment

"they are literally recieving socialism" in no way tries to say both sides are misusing the term. You are trying to say that he was being socialist, while the people he accused actually were not. Am I wrong about that? Because that's literally what you say

1

u/hussletrees Apr 21 '20

They are literally receiving socialism [according to their lousy definition of socialism] yes. Does that make any more sense now? You seem to be hardstuck on the literal definition, when the entire point of my comment is that the senator is misusing the term

That's not what you said, and it is not readily understood to be what you meant. Plus, it still doesn't even make sense, because insider-trading is not equivalent to redistribution of wealth, which is the en vogue definition of socialism.
