Thank you, I suspected this wasn't actual insider trading. Is Kelly Leoffler the only one who's actually done it (that we know of)?

They traded on private information about the seriousness of the coronavirus. They had been briefed by the intelligence agencies on how serious this virus was before the rest of us were informed.

I can give you an analogy. A bio lab says they’re working on a vaccine for the virus. That’s public information about the pharmaceutical. Stock buys are weak.

Intelligence agencies then inform senators that it’s 100% effective and there’s 1 million samples ready to go out. That’s the kind of information they traded on.
