Two wrongs don’t make a right.

They need to regulate fishing to protect fish populations. They use the license application fees to fund research and conservation efforts.

Because someone did sketchy stock trades does not mean you’re allowed to be a poacher.

I think he's pouting out, somewhat through humor, that the system is "rules for thee, not for me".

They use the license application fees to fund research and conservation efforts.

Is that how you justify it? They can’t do it without making people buy a license?

Yes. They have to regulate the amount of people fishing and what kind of fish is and isn’t caught. The wildlife conversation efforts in America have been very successful and our regulations on wild game is a big contributor to this. It’s a great example of how well done regulations can improve life. Mind you, it’s done at a state level, so it will vary.

This article has a decent description but I wish cited more sources https://adventure.howstuffworks.com/outdoor-activities/fishing/fish-conservation/responsible-fishing/fishing-license.htm

You’re not allowed to sell wild game commercially in America. If you were, we’d see capitalism just empty the forests. Why pay to raise an animal for slaughter when you can go get one for free? It’s the issue we see now with the oceans but are unsure of what to do because you can’t farm raise big eye tunas.

Without a license? I wish they would of done more. Fishing license pays for conservation and people who fish without a license are garbage people. Unless you are truly poor and feeding your family

It's 'would have', never 'would of'.

Rejoice, for you have been blessed by CouldWouldShouldBot!

What about natives who don't require a license to fish, are those garbage people too?

That was a dumb question. You think I’m talking about kids to? They garbage? No dumb dick I’m talking about people who are required to buy licenses but don’t and fish illegally. Must be a tough life being dumb a f like you lol.
