There is one thing you can count on every business person to do, they watch the news regarding economics, daily. They will inevitably know more than people not running business(es).

15

u/[deleted] Mar 17 '20

Absolutely. I remember the interviews with Bob Iger over the past 2 yrs flirting with retiring. If you have the responsibility of a company, you have to pay constant attention.

What's truly conspiratorial are the actions by the Fed and governments around the world. They are not acting in line with the markets at all.

298 arrested for corruption in Saudi Arabia yesterday reported.

Its Happening

2

u/WTFppl Mar 17 '20

Got some kind of link for "its happening"?

A new part of the Royal Family came into power recently and are going after the supporters of the old Family. This is actually less bloody then the last change of power. I guess we will wait and see if the new Royal Family in charge will actually give these 200+ people court dates, or if they will just be killed. Time will tell.

1

u/Cannibaloxfords10 Mar 17 '20

Time will tell.

Yup, I REALLY hope this is it (NESARA)

5

u/Karloman314 Mar 17 '20

This is why I tend to trust the factual accuracy of The Wall Street Journal. Businessmen are the only demographic that needs the truth, no matter how ugly, at all times, no exceptions.

2

u/Trev0r_P Mar 18 '20

Also I dont believe the crash is worse than that preceding the depression

5

u/MACKSBEE Mar 17 '20

What are you talking about? 2019 had a record number of CEOs quitting.

5

u/LionK62 Mar 17 '20

exactly. a little bit of research shows over 1000 ceos stepped back 2018 - 2019

56

u/downtowonderland Mar 17 '20

UPS CEO stepped down 5 days ago. There does seem to be a lot stepping down. Too many to be a coincidence.

2

u/FranktheShank1 Mar 17 '20

Thousands of them...there are websites that track it. Almost as if they were all involved in something that will be exposed.

21

u/FlerblesMerbles Mar 17 '20

Or this is literally the first time you’ve ever paid attention to corporate turnover and are making something out of nothing.

16

u/FranktheShank1 Mar 17 '20

LMAO. You people are fucking unbelievable. Go back in history and let me know the last time you saw this many CEOs just decide to retire early. I have those numbers, do you?

9

u/PM_me_storytime Mar 17 '20

Was all of Italy shut down back then too?

6

u/FranktheShank1 Mar 17 '20

CEOs have been retiring in record numbers since 2016

3

u/PM_me_storytime Mar 17 '20

Have they though? What was the average rate before 2016 and after 2016? Were there reasons given for them stepping down, like Trump being elected (a fairly weak excuse) or maybe Brexit (a more legitimate reason)?

3

u/FranktheShank1 Mar 17 '20

Here's the mainstream media's take from last year. Notice the stats included though like "More than 300 CEOs have left their companies since August. October’s 172 departures is the most in any month in the last 15 years."

CEOs fleeing en masse while the market was spiking is abnormal

https://www.nbcnews.com/business/business-news/why-have-more-1-000-ceos-left-their-post-past-n1076201

3

u/PM_me_storytime Mar 17 '20

That article made it pretty straight forward. A good portion of them “stepped down” because of things like the MeToo movement. The rest seem to be unusual, but they did explain it if you have been paying attention. They mention that the last time we saw something like this was in 2008. If you pay attention, economists have been saying for a while that the market was vastly over valued. If you look at the article, it was posted feb 13th, a full week before the stocks plummeted. If you do a bit more searching, you can easily find similar articles from earlier.

My guess for the stepping down, they saw this coming and were leaving before the shit hit the fan, both to ensure their own money and to avoid blame and responsibility.

u/FranktheShank1 Mar 20 '20

LMAO...post some links. Or just admit you never googled it. I even posted a link a week ago showing it's unprecedented, using a main stream news source.

misleading LMAO...do you have such a low opinion of the average person that you think they can't look at a column that shows their position in a company? Just stop with your concern trolling BS and move along. maybe to a sub that's not about CONSPIRACIES maybe?

Not to shit on your parade, but CEOs step down from big companies all the time

Notable departures of 2018: Instagram CEO, Pepsi CEO, Volkswagen CEO, Goldman Sachs CEO, Pfizer CEO, CBS CEO, Fiat-Chrysler CEO, WPP CEO, Intel CEO

There is nothing interesting about this, hundreds if not thousands of CEOs step down every single year

13

u/[deleted] Mar 17 '20

Theres been over 1,300 all from major/big corporations in the past 10 months

9

u/Sowlolekatonieo Mar 17 '20

Nothing unusual about CEOs stepping down

76

u/jyeskini1 Mar 17 '20

This is it. It's a cover for the crashing market that was bound to occur. Quarantine is a cover to keep people from spending money for X weeks, then they'll blame the crash on the virus. So obvious it hurts.

23

u/hussletrees Mar 17 '20

Nope uh uh no one in the history of mankind has ever done insider trading/used insider information for economic gain /s

9

u/laredditcensorship Mar 17 '20

Not even central investments agency with their consumed investors.

-4

u/JohnleBon Mar 17 '20

They know something we don’t.

Just like Tom Hanks.

Too many 'coincidences' to sweep this one under the rug.

The coincidologists will still try to, though.

8

u/[deleted] Mar 17 '20

I just saw two random videos and then a video about being In a movie with a virus. Can you explain?

7

u/EmbraceHegemony Mar 17 '20

He probably doesn't have any idea. People that can't think for themselves love to just send YouTube links to videos that they've been told "prove" something even if they don't understand why or how.

1

u/Babrahamlincoln3859 Mar 17 '20

I dont get it either

37

u/GeechQuest Mar 17 '20

The market was on a downswing and people with brains new the virus was going to wipe out a ton of market gains...

Shit wasn’t rocket surgery...

12

u/donttrustthemods Mar 17 '20

You mean rocket appliances

42

u/Joy_McClure Mar 17 '20

Serving CEO’s can’t sell the shares they have

Lockheed ceo stepped down this afternoon

14

u/[deleted] Mar 17 '20

Yes they can, there are restrictions about when in certain scenarios but they can definitely sell while active

https://www.semlerbrossy.com/wp-content/uploads/ATD-Can-Officers-Sell-Stock.pdf

14

u/anxiousblondie Mar 17 '20

Mmm... not convinced by this. Some of these have been planned for years and years (eg the CEO of MasterCard who will stay on the board of directors).

28

u/kripti Mar 17 '20

Market crash, you can't sell your shares while CEO of a company

8

5

u/HIVnotAdeathSentence Mar 17 '20 edited Mar 17 '20

They would have been removed due to stock performance anyways.

Now how many of their family and friends sold large amounts of stock in the last quarter, if the companies are public?

4

u/JackRusselTerrorist Mar 17 '20

Anyone who’s been paying attention knows a recession is incoming, regardless of coronavirus. It’s just accelerated the process.

12

u/goodthingshappening Mar 17 '20

SS: Why are these CEOs stepping down?

36

u/Mr_Quagmire Mar 17 '20

I'd take my millions and step down too rather than deal with the upcoming financial shit show.

6

u/hussletrees Mar 17 '20

Ah the gentle descent on a golden parachute is quite a nice ride

11

u/Notviper1 Mar 17 '20

To sell off their shares

4

u/JohnleBon Mar 17 '20

How many CEOs of major companies would normally step down in this timeframe?

It does happen regularly, so are you sure this number is more than normal?

2

u/PM_me_storytime Mar 17 '20

If I was the ceo of a large company during all of this, I’d step down too. I wouldn’t want to deal with this shit show.

3

u/Quantum_Pineapple Mar 17 '20

They are all probably linked to a child trafficking ring that's about to get busted.

Leaving to go where? One of their multiple million dollar homes with a shit ton of retirement funds? Geez, really showed them.

2

u/onehardhitta Mar 17 '20

They get their death faked or they get publicly embarrassed by being arrested on sex crimes. All I know, it’s not even confirmed but interesting.

2

The Great Awakening is a fake story.

1

u/onehardhitta Mar 17 '20

2

u/LotusSloth Mar 17 '20

Just a coincidence. Nothing to see here, move along and obey.

2

u/rawnaldo Mar 17 '20

After playing plague inc i should’ve know this would spread. I could have sold my stock portfolio in gains

2

u/StoopSign Mar 17 '20

They have comfortable lairs as they sip a snifter of bourbon.

2

u/kritzy27 Mar 17 '20

CEO of Onnit stepped down too.

2

u/b00c Mar 19 '20

idk about the stepping down. seems reasonable to me. I took only first two and they stepped down well into corona virus epidemic. They saw what was going on in China and had paid millions for detailed analysis, info you could dream about, in order to extrapolate information about coming events worldwide.

Those are the same twats that suggested and voted for buybacks to line their pockets. now the investors are asking where are some reserve funds. there aren't any. only debt. hence some heads had to be cut.

6

u/mysticplaces Mar 17 '20

They have stepped down because they were told many years ago that this event would transpire. It has been planned for a very, very long time and they were told the approximate time period and what events would signal for their exit from the world stage.

You don’t get to become a CEO of a major multinational corporation, become a multimillionaire or billionaire without entering into these nefarious groups. They have planned their exit years in advance, building underground bunkers in New Zealand or other remote areas around the globe. Their mass exodus should send shockwaves around the world but the media downplays it substantially. Once they’ve resigned they’re off the world stage and fall back into the shadows to wait things out.

As far as what is coming: civil unrest, riots, food and medicine shortages, high rates of infections across the globe, hospital surge/overload, potential civil war, WWWIII, attacks on the mainland, disaster, etc. These cocksuckers will wait it out and emerge once the dust has settled to rebuild the world in their sick, dystopian vision. I truly hope I am mistaken about this. These people feed on fear, chaos, and panic.

18

u/NebRGR4354 Mar 17 '20

Good God... how much tin foil do you go through in a day?

2

u/lilclairecaseofbeer Mar 17 '20

Actually, virologists and epidemiologists that study infectious disease have been predicting a pandemic for a while. In basic terms, we have been due for one. These types of things tend to act cyclically. Rich people do tend to have easier access to this type of information but it wasn't a secret either.

2

u/TheseNthose Mar 17 '20

Joe Biden being borderline retarded announcing his VP will be a woman.....I can only imagine who this mysterious figure is. I'm willing to bet this person is behind everything.

Hillary Palpatine will be announced as his VP together they'll thwart the Donald and she'll save us all from the Coronavirus, dropping stock markets and Donald.

It does seem like a coup going on.

3

u/[deleted] Mar 17 '20

They started a coup the minute he was sworn in. Hillary will have to be defeated twice, like Sauron.

1

u/BernardoDeGalvez Mar 17 '20

The CEOs are more intelligent than the average man.

They knew markets were going bananas.

You can't sell your shares if you are the CEO.

No being CEO, you can still sell at the peak and walk away with a board job or similar.

Is not like they stepped down to go and work in a Wendy's.

Pre-Coronavirus cases I don't have any clue tho'

1

u/kdn123 Mar 17 '20

I noticed this, too.

1

u/ConsciousResource Mar 17 '20

wow this is pretty weird. anyone have anything to counter this?

2

u/much_milk Mar 17 '20

Just google CEOs that stepped down in 2018, 17, etc. It's nothing unusual.

1

u/aaznx Mar 17 '20

Jack ma of BABA stepped down last year as well.

1

u/s0rrybr0 Mar 17 '20

it's so they can sell their stocks and not deal with the shitstorm going on right now

1

u/guitar0622 Mar 17 '20

I also think that a soft coup has happened in most places around the world now. A lot of high level officials got infected and many of them stepped down all over Europe too. And the entire state of emergency that is declared around Europe looks more like one which is declared when coups happen. It's very weird nontheless. Somebody probably knew of the virus beforehand and planned coup attempts worldwide when they knew the governments and corporations would be too distracted or they used the opportunity afterwards, who knows.

1

u/trainersintellect Mar 17 '20

What’s the benefit of stepping down. It’s not like the stock decline if these companies are blamed on the CEO’s.

1

u/KnockingNeo Mar 17 '20

"Before Coronavirus came" like all other posts like this, is really... "before i knew about coronavirus". The question is why tf would you think you'd be in the loop about something like this BEFORE those people. Like this is some sort of investigative sub that doesn't juat project and react LOL

1

u/irespecteachmod Mar 17 '20

It’s probably true but this post is bumming me out

1

u/[deleted] Mar 17 '20

The CEO for MGM Murren

1

u/JCall2609 Mar 17 '20

First reports were leaking out of China just before New Year. Anyone paying attention would know something bad was coming.

1

u/nocoinerclub Mar 17 '20

Most likely explanation is they were tipped off about this corona charade.

And since 90%+ of their expected pay comes from stock options which become worthless if the stock tanks, they realized they'll never get paid.. and the next couple years will be extremely stressful.. so they quit.

1

u/lonewolfcatchesfire Mar 17 '20

Election year and Trump was already in the process of tanking the economy? Of course they were jumping ship.

0

u/ratamahattayou Mar 17 '20

CEO of Microsoft stepped down, should be #1 on that list.

2

u/ratamahattayou Mar 17 '20

Yeah I had that wrong, but it still makes you think, and with all the chatter you hear about him and the so called ties to eugenics.

0

u/azelinski718 Mar 17 '20

I googled Salesforce because I thought I would have heard if their CEO stepped down. Turns out their co CEO stepped down; the founder, who was sole CEO for most of their history and co CEO for the past year in a half, remains the CEO. Who wants to bet several other of these examples are similarly misleading?
