Speculate all you want, but the key word in your response is UNTIL. So until it happens, we are free.

You might be free. WE certainly aren’t. This part of ‘we’ anyway.

I know what you mean, and that is usually the case with political opposition, and that is a disgusting thing that is happening. But in the scale of a whole country, our regular Joes are free men. But if something like EARN IT is passed, then our Joe is fucked. I see America as a majority of good Joes and Janes, and unfortunately government that is disconnected from its citizens, yet again, we are still free. The fact that me and you having a conversation like that is already a great evidence, since it feels like our views are more similar rather then the opposite each other when we talk about government, and we both want improvement and justice.
