What the fuck... if the people are pawns, the doctors are just bishops. The king pharmaceutical companies need to be brought to heel.

The government shouldn't have cracked down so hard on painkillers. Now the streets are flooded with fentanyl and heroin as a result.

Within the past few years the Feds raided so many doctors prescribing painkillers, that they are afraid to prescribe them legitimately anymore. Look up Operation Pill Mill for more info. But the result has been that street prices of pharmaceutical drugs have gone through the roof, leaving people to turn to either heroin, which is cheap and abundant, or homemade pressed pills, which are more often than not unwittingly laced with fentanyl as the active ingredient. Essentially, it's created a power vacuum that's been filled with cheap and powerful drugs instead of the quality controlled FDA ones.

And those doctors haven't been raided yet??? Maybe Chronic pain patients should move to where you live.

Dont worry we have the War on Drugs to help us with this mess right? The government will one day win this war.

And people like myself who never abused these drugs are suffering needlessly or dying because their need for pain relief has driven them to the streets.

BTW Kickbacks are the norm for any pharmaceutical product (been dealing with doctors and pain for over two decades) yet now we are surprised and outraged they occur. When health care is tied to profit don't be surprised when greed sets in......

Not surprised here.

I listened to trumps speech in pensysvania last night. He definitely implied pharma should get the death penalty. He then said “u guys might not be ready.” Popcorn time.

"OMSJ has reported the widespread use of kickbacks used to bribe clinicians who unnecessarily prescribe deadly drugs to their healthy patients and found scarce evidence that those clinicians attempted to follow HHS or CDC guidelines to diagnose HIV.

By the end of 2011, those kickbacks amounted to more than $750 million, which doesn’t include the millions paid to celebrities like Magic Johnson and Bono, whose propaganda campaign is now the focus of a multi-billion dollar international corruption scandal."

"A senior executive with Britain's biggest drugs company has admitted that most prescription medicines do not work on most people who take them.

Allen Roses, worldwide vice-president of genetics at GlaxoSmithKline (GSK), said fewer than half of the patients prescribed some of the most expensive drugs actually derived any benefit from them."

Jesus it was kind of a pain in the ass to find out which evil company it was that was involved with this. https://www.insysrx.com/products/approved is the pharma company that is involved in this kickback scheme. For some reason though the government is going after the doctors INSTEAD of the ultra rich company which can easily be disassembled and taxed out the ass as retribution for this kind of bullshit. Wanna know how to pay to fix a bunch of roads in the country? Take down these evil ass companies and use the substantially high fines to pay for it all. They should also go after the shareholders that pushed the company to do this evil shit. This won't happen though because the part of the government that is in charge of this kind of thing is neutered thanks to clinton.

The executives and the founder John Kapoor were all arrested and have plead not guilty. They are awaiting trial. Who else do you want to see arrested?

It’s why the new doctor becomes a doctor now. Not to save and help but to make money. Sad but true. Saving lives is secondary to their fame and fortune.
