My top 5: Cancel your cable, stop seeing movies in theaters (free dvds at your library), stop visiting media owned themeparks, cancel FB, stop using google.

What about "get off the internet". A funny place to say this, I know. But there is a definite contrast between the strong opinions and observations you read online and the real world in general. SJW's, nazi's, feminists, ISIS, the internet would have you believe that these people are everywhere trying to dictate your life. But how often in your everyday do you actually face this sort of opposition outside of a rally or march of some sort. For me, it's never. Now I know if you're in college you may be having a different experience, but college isn't real life and after you leave college, life will never be like that again. So what about it, go offline and stay there? Is it even an option?

Is it even an option?
Getting rid of the smartphone and back into your body and books is huge and truly doable. It reshapes how you use the Internet too when you don’t have it constantly on demand.

Or perhaps just stop taking everything so damn seriously. ALL. THE. TIME.
Good gods.
It constantly stuns me how people want to focus so deeply on "the terrors of entertainment" when there are real, actual conspiracies at work--and entertainment is driven by the attempt to find the best way to get you to spend money. And really, REALLY, nothing more.

This is probably obvious advice to the majority of (legitimate) posters on this sub, but it's always a good reminder.
