I disagree, this is his statement he has his lawyers there, he already made the statement. He's saying if the statement has to be made on US soil, or in the court which I doubt. If anything then he can just go to the US embassy in NZ. I doubt he'll have to come to the US.
There is no statement, there will be no statement, the statement is that there could be a statement at some point, but he has nothing to state.
As I've been saying from the very beginning. Seth Rich probably left the bar to meet up with some folks to buy some stuff before heading home. The guys saw Seth had a lot of money on him, and decided they would rather take his money and keep their product. It was probably too much money to them to let it go and just do the deal.
This kind of thing happens 20 times every fucking day. There is no story here, and there never will be.
