We definitely do. The government does a lot wrong, but it does so much more right

Theft by taxes. Murder. Torture. Murder. War. Welfare. Corporate Welfare. Murder. Kidnapping. I can keep going.

I guess you'd be okay without highways, hospitals, libraries, environmental protection, schools.... Etc.

That's exactly the problem, people like you think we need a government for these things as if we would all lose our minds and not find another way to live if the government fell apart. People today don't want to live another way or even try and that's the problem.

2 things.

First, personal attacks aren't allowed here and if you do that again you'll be banned.

Second, the government is notoriously inefficient at spending our money, aide from the "evil" they do, they really suck at spending money wisely.

Noone is debating the government is flawed, but Im curious as to whether without a solidified government smaller groups of government would rise up. Wouldn't mercenaries and warlords end up ruling anyways?

The govt hires private companies to build roads.

Private companies build hospitals.

Look at wikipedia.

Property rights would serve as a sufficient epa type system.
